FOCUS on Youth / CASA is a 501 (c)3 a non-profit organization that recruits, screens, trains, and supports community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of abused and neglected children involved in court proceedings.
Vision Statement
FOCUS on Youth / CASA promotes safe, permanent homes for all children and seeks to educate the community concerning the needs of abused and neglected children through advocacy, socialization and education that reduced juvenile delinquency.
Goals
Strategic Goals Focus Area
Goal 1. Advocacy: To recruit, train, and screen volunteers within the service area.
Goal 2: Socialization: To provide holistic assessments of children and families court ordered to our program.
Goal 3: Education: To raise awareness regarding abuse, neglect, abandonment and foster care throughout the year.
Goal 4: Sustainability: To attain funding and maintain volunteers, board members, staff and donors while continuing to build strong collaborative partnerships.
